Hey Loves!
It's been a while. I've been busy getting my boys ready for school to start and studying for a certification. So, I haven't been very active on the blog or on social media, but I couldn't let today pass without sharing this cute little shirt that I made for my middle guy's first day of school.
I made it using Siser vinyl & a thrifted Cricut Expression I purchased from Salvation Army for about $40. It came with 3 cartridges which initially I was a little bummed about but I'm so glad that I have those cartridges now. I ran into a couple of issues while trying to create the shirt:
I guess the moral of the story is don't underestimate the simple things. Sometimes, simple is best.
Until next time, 💋!

- I broke the power cord for my laptop so I couldn't use the software that I normally use to create images for the Cricut. Who breaks the power cord?! ME, of course!
- There was no orange vinyl in the store for the basketball. The only orange vinyl was glitter and that just won't work for a boy. I decided to use blue (What boy doesn't like blue?!) to create the basketball and shadows on the shirt.
I guess the moral of the story is don't underestimate the simple things. Sometimes, simple is best.
Until next time, 💋!
