Hey Loves!
It's been a while, hasn't it?! I've missed posting. I've missed the excitement of weekly projects. I've missed the excitement of new clothes for me by me. It's been a rough few months but I think I'm coming back around.
So you may be wondering, where have you been? I wasn't on vacation, that's for sure. I've been doing something really, really important. I've been nurturing a new life. In a few months, that little person will be here. It's hard to believe but it's happening soon. We are super excited!
I have this thing about not wearing the same thing to the doctor twice. I've taken my club philosophy and applied it to my doctor's visits. LOL So, I've made a few things for my appointments. I'll be showcasing them from now until the little one is here.
This post is about my first one. It's a combination of one of my favorite patterns, McCall's M6754 and a self drafted pencil skirt. I used the bodice from M6754. The fabric was a combination of a clearance fabric from Hancock Fabric (knit gray lace) and scrap fabric from an old project (black scuba knit).
The waist band was a last minute add on that luckily turned out well. I wasn't sure about it but I thought the dress needed a little something extra.
What do you think about it?
