Hi Loves!
In honor of throw back Thursday, I am posting one of my favorite projects from my first year of sewing.
I still wear it alot and always seem to get a few compliments on it. It's one of those projects that lets the fabric print be the focal point. It takes less than 30 minutes to make but looks absolutely adorable.
Here are the directions
• fold 1.5 yards of fabric in half lengthwise, right sides facing
• pin short sides 10" from the top to the bottom
• leave gap open
• sew pinned areas, back stitch the beginning and end
• hem all the loose ends if you'd like
It's all done and ready to wear.
I'm not sure of the proper name: shrug, cocoon, cardigan, wrap, cape... I've heard so many different names. So here is my creation that falls under one of those titles.
What do you think?
Until next time, smooches!
DJ
