This is a project from a few months ago but I thought I'd share it.
My hubby bought me a new tablet - a Nexus 7. I love it. I'm a very clumsy person when it comes to electronics. Phones and tablets seem to always find a way from my hand to the floor or ground. So, I started looking for a case. I saw some I liked but didn't want to pay the tag for them so I turned my attention to Pinterest and Etsy for ideas. While searching for DIY projects, I ran across a tutorial on one of my fave blogs, Practically Functional. I thought, "It can't be too hard, give it a try." I sat down and, after a little trial and error (about 1 hour), I ended up with a pretty cute tablet case.
I used some left over vinyl we had from reupholstering a chair for the outside. The ribbon, inner lining, and elastic were from Wal-mart (total less than $10).
I get lots of compliments on the case. What do you think?
