Hey Loves! I'm back this week with my first make of 2019. In the midst of making sewing plans for 2019, I had to make something purple to wear to a church event. FabricMart had the perfect purple scuba knit on sale in December. I bought it in anticipation for this event.  It did not disappoint. Hey Loves! I'm back with a fun make.  Literally, it's fun to make and fun to wear. DIY Boutique Pants D0746 + 4 half circle skirts Fabric: Textured Double Knit from FabricMart It's so simple.  All you need is your favorite leggings pattern and self drafted half circle skirts.  Well, of course, you need the basic sewing supplies.  You know machines, needles, scissors, thread, etc. First, let me tell you why D0746.  THE CONTOURED WAIST!  I love the three different options.  Did I say the contoured waist?!  The only adjustment I have to make is a Full Butt Adjustment.  I'm blessed with a little extra below the waist so that's nothing out of the ordinary. Now, here's how I created these cuties: Measured my inseam to just below my knee. Added 1" to that measurement. Marked that measurement on the pattern. Hey Loves! It's anyone else maxed out on winter.  It's April in Alabama.  Why was the temp 39° yesterday?!  Well I'm anxiously waiting for spring.  I want to wear sundresses, my shoulders out, and shorts with cute sandals! Hey Loves! I'm excited about this post.  Well, when am I not excited about a post? I made this Spring ready dress using M6754, fabric from Fabricmart, and my Brother SE400. I love this fabric.  It's an ottoman double knit from Fabric Mart .  It's a great weight.  The inside is super soft and the outside had a pretty texture. I decided to add a little embroidery to this pretty periwinkle fabric.  I love my SE-400.  It allows me to personalize my garments. The embroidery took quite a while.  Each of those flowers is an individual file.  Each file required five thread changes.  This is one of the free designs preloaded on the machine.  I planned to do an entire bodice panel but our took too long.  I may finishthe panel one day.
