Sew with Me: Not Jogging But I've Got Joggers

Hey Loves! Before I got all big in the midsection, I worked out daily - weights and cardio.  I spent quite a bit of my time in comfy pants. So when my inspiration pictures popped up in my timeline, I was so excited about the possibility of comfy pants they aren't fitness pants. Well, a couple of weeks later I visited Joann's for a fabric fix.  I stumbled upon this really cute 4 way stretch knit fabric in neutral hues.  It was soft and perfect for some comfy, cute joggers.  It was a clearance fabric so I snatched it up. Here's what I did: Folded my fabric in half salvage to salvage.  Then, folded it again. Folded an existing pair of pants in half vertically. Traced them onto my fabric - making sure the outside seam is aligned with the fold. Made adjustments to the waist to accommodate my growing belly. Measured my ankle.  Cut two strips of fabric ( 6" by ankle measurement). Sewed the inside seams of both pant legs. Placed one pant leg inside the other

Sew with Me: Where I've Been Hiding

Hey Loves! It's been a while, hasn't it?!  I've missed posting.  I've missed the excitement of weekly projects.  I've missed the excitement of new clothes for me by me.  It's been a rough few months but I think I'm coming back around.  So you may be wondering, where have you been? I wasn't on vacation, that's for sure.  I've been doing something really, really important. I've been nurturing a new life.  In a few months, that little person will be here.  It's hard to believe but it's happening soon.  We are super excited! I have this thing about not wearing the same thing to the doctor twice. I've taken my club philosophy and applied it to my doctor's visits. LOL So, I've made a few things for my appointments.  I'll be showcasing them from now until the little one is here. This post is about my first one.  It's a combination of one of my favorite patterns, McCall's M6754 and a self drafted pen
