Girls' Night Outfit

Hi Loves!  It has been a while since I posted but I have not stopped thinking about ideas and things I want to accomplish this year.  One of them is sewing at least one garment a month for myself.  I am going to conquer my fear of zippers and button holes this year.  So, I bet your wondering how this all ties into a Girls' Night Out.   Well, here you go.  My friends and I went to see the awesome John Legend.  He's such a cutie and his voice is to die for.  He sounds just like his recorded work.  Not only is he a great singer, he is also a philanthropist.  He was the featured speaker at the 25th Realizing the Dream Concert.  I jumped on the opportunity to support a good cause and listen to some awesome music.  I was pleasantly surprised to hear him speak so passionately about his philanthropic work. We plan to complete one big DIY project a month.  December's project was the master bedroom closet.  Pictures and details in the next post. I have fallen in love with sewing.  I'm not the best, but it is a creative outlet.  I get to make clothes that fit me and I love it.  SO, I am challenging myself to make 3 things a month.  It can be for me or someone else. I'm going to share my sewing journey with you.  I have one project cut out and ready to sew.  Pictures coming soon.   I pray each of you receive the desires of your heart and that all your plans succeed. Smooches,
